A masters golf competition will soon take place in Britain and will be sponsored by a cryptocurrency startup.
On Wednesday, LIFElabs company made an announcement that it will give money on the sponsorship of the Sky Sports British Masters golf competition that will be held in a week. It will be one of several sponsors including Adidas, TaylorMade and Ladbrokes.
An integral part of the sponsorship by philanthropy startup is helping others, so a company will organize a contest for the players. It will occupy the 9th hole and the first player who hits it will get £10,000 prize and additional £10,000 will be divided between Cancer Research UK and the European Tour Foundation, two British charity organizations.
The host of the tournament that will take place between October 11 and 15 is going to be U.S. Open champion Justin Rose.
Max Hamilton, a head of commercial partnership, commented that it was a delight for him to accept LIFElabs sponsorship as it is a progressive company that fits the tournament.
Luke Chittock, CEO of LIFElabs mentioned that the company is thinking about mankind future and is happy to invest in it.
He admitted that sports is a perfect way to unite people. Moreover, he called the European Tour an innovative brand that is focused on future, so both of them have one goal – to change people’s life in future.
