The documents from the court found by one new channel say that the failure of FLiK token created by American rap performer T.I.P. made several people issue a lawsuit estimated at $5 million.
The FLiK token was created and advertised actively in the social media by T.I. and his partner Ryan Felton. They encouraged people to invest money and 25 of them made an investment equal $1.3 million. The token has failed and the securities have lost their value.
The lawsuit accuses T.I. and Felton of fraud as they spent money on the increase of the token price, but when its cost decreased significantly both of them escaped. People also charge Felton for the creation of a company responsible for the acquiring of all the tokens and giving investors nothing after all.
Nowadays, former FLiK token holders want to return their money and obtain money for damage from this couple. The sum is equal $5 million. Rapper’s lawyer refuses to comment this situation.
FLiK token appeared last year in September and was promoted by a movie star Kevin Hart too. Another person connected with the advertising of the token was wealthy Mark Cuban, the owner of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks. If to analyze the statistics of the coin trading, the highest price of the currency was in October 17, 2017 and it reached 21 cents. Another not so significant takeoff was in February and after that it was gradually declining. Now it is worth only $0.001.
It is not surprising to see famous people in the activities related to the world of cryptocurrency. Other unsuccessful token holders were one more rap singer Ghostface Killah, a famous boxer Floyd Mayweather and others. One more cooperation with a celebrity has been recently announced too. Johnny Depp is going to work with TaTaTu platform to opt for the creation and production of film and digital content.
